ABOUT

The Earth Observation Laboratory (EO Lab) is located at the University of Rome Tor Vergata in Italy, in the Department of Civil Engineering and Computer Science Engineering. The EO Lab supports multidisciplinary research and teaching activities, with interactions between Earth Observation, satellite and drone Remote Sensing, geo-information, Artificial Intelligence and computer science engineering.

The EO Lab is a vibrant hub where researchers and students from different levels and diverse backgrounds, including Environmental, Computer Science, and Telecommunications Engineering, come together to collaborate. Researchers in the EO Lab investigate cutting-edge methods and implement algorithms to exploit data from Earth Observation satellite missions for various purposes that include soil, water and atmospheric monitoring.

The members have authored several scientific publications focusing on different aspects of Remote Sensing and Earth Observation, including utilization and processing of data from heterogenous sensors .

The group is constantly and actively involved in the various international conferences, workshops and exhibitions in the field.
